Chicago Derm in Decatur, Illinois seeks an Academic OB/GYN to help launch a new women’s health program within the School of Medicine. This founding-team role offers a clear path to a faculty appointment and opportunities to mentor residents.

You will provide full-spectrum OB/GYN care with mid-level support; maternal-fetal medicine support is available when needed. A balanced five-day schedule and structured on-call are planned.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• MD or DO with completion of an accredited U.S. OB/GYN residency.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available.
• International Medical Graduates with U.S. residency welcome to apply.

Help shape the future of women's healthcare in Central Illinois. A new OB/GYN practice is launching in Decatur, creating a rare opportunity to join the founding team of a growing program that will become the community's primary destination for women's healthcare.

• Collaborative Practice: Work alongside experienced OB/GYN physicians with mid-level support while providing full-spectrum OB and GYN care. Maternal-Fetal Medicine support is available when needed.
• Balanced Schedule: Enjoy a structured five-day schedule with approximately 24 patients per day. Physicians rotate one 24-hour in-house call shift each week followed by a day off, with dedicated clinic and OR time throughout the remainder of the week. The long-term goal is a sustainable 1:7 call schedule.
• Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $496,216-$571,216, relocation assistance of $10,000-$15,000, comprehensive benefits, malpractice coverage, and a faculty appointment.
