Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical services to hospital patients, including assessment, treatment and management of care.
• Ensure continuity of care for assigned patients in compliance with regulatory standards (The Joint Commission).
• Assist with practice location budgeting, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing input.
• Guide recruitment, supervision and evaluation of Practice Location staff.
• Participate in utilization management, quality improvement and patient satisfaction activities.
• Engage in teaching or community benefit programs and after-hours/on-call coverage as required.
