Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA, is seeking an obstetrician-gynecologist to join a busy, flexible schedule with no call requirements. The role offers teaching opportunities with FM residents and medical residents, a newly remodeled clinic on our main campus, and access to a Level II NICU and on-site specialists.

The system covers 14 counties with a large, multi-hospital network and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Join a team with 1 FT OBGYN, 1 FT, 1 PT, 3 PRN OB Hospitalists and 4 ARNPs with no call.
• Provide obstetrics and gynecology care in a high-volume setting.
• Participate in teaching FM Residents and Medical Residents in L&D 24/7.
