AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist to join our growing team. Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, managing labor and delivery, responding to emergencies, and performing deliveries and surgical procedures.

This role offers a balanced schedule with fourteen 12-hour shifts or seven 24-hour shifts per month, emphasizing patient-centered care and collaboration with nurses and specialists to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• License: Medical license (MD or DO)
• Board certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN
• Certification in adult and neonatal resuscitation
• Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Proficiency with hospital EMR systems
• Commitment to patient safety and teamwork with AdventHealth mission

Responsabilités

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist to join our growing team at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel.

Responsibilities of the OB/GYN Hospitalist

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality, round-the-clock care for patients. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, responding to obstetric emergencies, performing deliveries and surgical procedures, and collaborating with nurses, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

Additionally, hospitalists provide consultative services, support emergency department evaluations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care while shaping the next generation of OB/GYN professionals.

Flexible schedules will include fourteen 12-hour shiftsORseven 24-hour shifts per month.

We Are Seeking Physicians With The Following Qualifications

• Current medical license (M.D. or D.O.)
• Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Certification in adult and neonatal resuscitation
• 5 years minimum of Labor and Delivery experience
• Proficiency with hospital EMR systems
