Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks an experienced OB/GYN for on-call obstetrics coverage in Paducah, Kentucky. This locum tenens position is inpatient and involves routine and complicated deliveries, 7a-7a on-call shifts, and 6-7 shifts per month, with beeper call and EMTALA coverage.

Credentialing is 90 days, temporary privileges available; board-certified OB/GYN, KY or IMLC license, active DEA, and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology (BC/OBGYN).
• KY or IMLC license to practice in Kentucky.
• Active DEA registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call coverage for obstetric emergencies.
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, cesarean).
• Manage labor and delivery triage and admissions.
• Perform repair of severe perineal lacerations.
• Collaborate with midwives and nursing staff.
