Job summary

adelphi medical staffing seeks an OB/GYN locum tenens for an inpatient obstetrics role in Wilson, NC. Call is 24 hours; 1:4 call ratio with 9a-9a weekends. Physician will cover low/high risk pregnancies, FHR interpretations, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and both routine and complicated deliveries.

Temporary privileges are available; travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. Active North Carolina license, BC/BE, and required obstetric certifications are essential for assignment.

Qualifications

• Active NC medical license is required.
• Board certification/eligibility in OB/GYN is required.
• ATLS/NRP/PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle low & high risk pregnancies.
• Perform FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds.
• Perform amniocentesis and manage deliveries (routine & complicated).
• Provide surgical GYN care and obstetric procedures as assigned.
