Job summary

Accolades Physician Resources LLC seeks an OB Laborist to join a private group in Charleston, SC. No call, no office duties, 24-hour shifts with 2-3 providers daily in a Level 3 NICU setting with MFM on site.

The role offers a stable full-time schedule with 24-hour blocks and potential promotion to Site Director, plus a competitive benefits package. Must hold or be eligible for SC medical license and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must obtain/maintain medical license in South Carolina.
• 1+ years OB/GYN experience preferred.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• US work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including contraceptive services where available.
• Provide direct care to high-risk patients with MFM support by teleconference if needed.
• Participate daily in Labor and Delivery rounds.
• Serve as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to ensure optimal patient safety.
• Support community physicians and midwives with clinical assistance and coverage as needed.

Overview

Join a private group for a Laborist Role. NO CALL & No office or clinic duties.

ROLE

• Choose 1 of 2 Hospitals -24 Hour Shifts majority, with some 12 hour ' 2-3 Providers each daily clinic ' Level 3 NICU with MFM on site ' 600 annual deliveries

Shifts

Majority 24 hour or some 12 hour shifts

Full-time = 5'9 (24-hr) shifts per 28-day block

Promotable to Site Director

DUTIES

• Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)
• Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal Fetal Medicine support may only be available by telephone or video consultation
• Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds
• Serve as the 'Safety Officer' on Labor and Delivery to ensure that all patients, regardless of their primary admitting clinician, have the safest possible outcomes
• Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance as requested including practice coverage as requested and as safely available
