Job summary

Dartmouth Health Manchester-Bedford Obstetrics, Gynecology & Nurse Midwifery seeks a BC/BE OB/GYN Generalist to join a busy practice with seven board certified/eligible OB/GYN physicians, eight CNMs, two APRNs and one PA in Bedford, NH.

The physician will see patients 1–2 days per week in the clinic and complete 12hr OB inpatient shifts with 1:8 call; leadership opportunities and an academic appointment with Dartmouth College's Geisel School of Medicine are available.

Qualifications

• Current ABMS board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Licensed to practice in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure.
• Active hospital staff membership.

Responsibilities

• See patients 1–2 days per week in the clinic and oversee 12‑hour OB inpatient shifts with 1:8 call.
• Collaborate with CNMs, APRNs, and maternal-fetal medicine subspecialists; participate in academic activities.

Overview

TheDartmouth Health Manchester-Bedford Obstetrics, Gynecology & Nurse Midwifery teamis seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN Generalist to join a busy practice with seven board certified/eligible OB/GYN physicians, eight certified nurse midwives, two APRNs and one PA with a supportive administration group.

The physician will see patients 1-2 days per week in the clinic and complete 12hr OB inpatient shifts with 1:8 call. We have a nocturnist model supported by two physicians.

Leadership opportunitiesare available for interested candidates, and this position comes with anacademic appointmentat Dartmouth College's Geisel School of Medicine.

Our group covers one busy community hospital providing comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology & nurse midwifery services with a 24/7 CNM Hospitalist service for patients in the Bedford/Manchester region of New Hampshire performing 800 deliveries per year with an integrated midwifery service.

The model of care at our Women’s Health Center is to provide care with physicians, CNM’s, APRN’s, PA’s, Genetic Counselors, and Dartmouth Health subspecialists in one office offering comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology, and midwifery care with on-site imaging and access to OBGYN subspecialists.
