Job summary

The Staff Pad partners with a health center in West Covina, CA to hire an experienced OBGYN Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA). The role provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in line with guidelines and practice protocols, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer.

The position is full-time (1.0 FTE) and involves prenatal care, women's health services, and robust documentation. CA license, DEA, CPR, and board certification are required, with opportunities for teaching and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program with obstetrics.
• Current California NP/PA license.
• DEA registration and CPR certification.
• Board certification in an APN/PA field.

Responsibilities

• Perform prenatal assessments and follow-up examinations per protocols.
• Provide women's health exams, contraceptive and STD services.
• Complete clinical documentation and EHR entries accurately.
• Order labs and perform procedures with appropriate follow-up.
• Identify high-risk patients and refer to physicians or outside resources.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities and team meetings.
• Serve as a preceptor for NP/PA students and residents.
• Attend conferences and continuing education as required.
