Qualifications

• Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation required.
• Certified Medical Assistant must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate prior authorizations for anti-obesity medications.
• Support workflow optimization with the obesity medicine clinic.
• Assist patients in navigating treatment options, including pharmacotherapy.
• Serve as a liaison between obesity medicine providers and surgeons.
• Identify opportunities for program growth and service expansion.
• Help track program outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Skills

Familiarity with anti-obesity medications and obesity treatment guidelines

Experience coordinating care between medical and surgical programs

Background in healthcare marketing, outreach or business development

Experience with EMR systems and data tracking/reporting

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Associate’s Degree in Business or Healthcare
