Job summary

Acclaim Health, in partnership with JPS Health Network, seeks an OB Triage Advanced Practice Provider (CNM/WHNP) to join the 24/7 unit at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. You will cover 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays, helping triage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, reviewing charts, coordinating care, and providing patient education while supporting academic, educational and research

Qualifications

• 1–2 years OB Triage experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the physician in overseeing and coordinating the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize quality patient care.
• Reviews patient medical charts to assist physician with diagnosis, treatment and care management.
• Makes appropriate patient referrals as necessary.
• Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring that the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.
• Provides care education to patients and families.
• Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores.
• Maintains a collaborative environment with providers, clinical staff, and support staff.
• Supports academic, educational and research endeavors.
• Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process.
• Serves as a resource to the community.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Education

Master’s Degree in Nursing

Graduate of an accredited Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program or accredited Nurse Midwife program
