Job summary

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford is seeking an OB Technician to assist in surgical settings and labor/delivery areas. Under medical supervision, you will ensure patient safety, stock supplies, and support routine patient care.

You will work under RN guidance to document data and assist families with daily living activities. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months of related experience, and BLS certification (RQI or AHA).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of related work experience preferred.
• BLS certification required (RQI Healthcare Provider or AHA Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating room including setup for cesarean sections and other procedures.
• Follow infection control policies and aseptic technique.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and restock supplies as required.
• Collect, record, and report patient data accurately and timely.
• Provide activities of daily living support for patients and families.
