Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital seeks a Surgical Technician to support the operating unit under the direction of the registered nurse. The role involves assisting on procedures for patients of all ages, stocking and maintaining unit supplies, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety and service excellence.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification, and complete NRP within four months of hire.

• Knowledge of AORN/AW HONN/ACOG recommended standards.
• Responsible for understanding and participating in the organization-wide Performance Improvement Program through orientation, education, departmental and interdepartmental quality control, performance improvement, and quality planning activities.

Education

Minimum (Required) High School Diploma Or Equivalent

Licenses and Certifications

Minimum (Required)

• Current BLS certification
• Must successfully complete and maintain NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification within 4 months of hire.

Preferred (Not Required)

Surgical Technician program/certification preferred.

Pay Transparency

The hourly salary rate range for this position is $21.00- $25.95. Applies good interpersonal and communication process utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills to achieve organizational service goals of customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
