Job summary

Avera St. Anthony's Hospital is seeking an RN Coordinator to support leadership in planning, organizing, educating, and implementing core operations.

The role centers on ensuring workflow turnaround times, daily tracking, staff scheduling coordination, and leading special projects within a multidisciplinary team. The RN Coordinator will serve as a key liaison, coordinate with other departments, and participate in survey or accreditation programs while maintaining high standards of patient care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Board of Nursing.
• An active license in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates projects and works with other departments to assure continuity of care.
• Lead specific survey or accreditation programs for area of expertise.
• Actively uses the nursing process in goal-focused patient care and demonstrates accountability.
• Develops and implements an individualized collaborative plan of care and discharge plan needs.
• Assists the nursing care team in complex patient situations with appropriate plan of care and patient education.
• Documents actions taken to address the plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent patient information clearly to health care team, patients and families.
