Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Austin is seeking a Full Time Clinical Faculty – OB to guide nursing students through theory, labs and clinicals, shaping tomorrow’s professional nurses. You will design and implement instruction, assess learning, and contribute to program outcomes in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

You must hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and be an active, unencumbered RN; BSN may be considered depending on campus needs.

Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in applicable state.
• MSN required; BSN may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, per the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Creates an learning environment that facilitates student progress and program outcomes.
• Implements diverse teaching strategies for different learner needs and contexts.
• Helps students develop professional nursing values and behaviors.
• Uses varied assessment methods across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
