ABOUT GEISINGER WYOMING VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER (GWV): GWV has been a part of the Geisinger family since opening as the NPW Medical Center in 1981. The professionals at GWV provide high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents of northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. Located just outside of Wilkes-Barre, GWV is home to a Level II trauma center to provide care for the most seriously ill and injured patients, as well as services in more than 50 specialties and subspecialty areas.
ABOUT GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER (GCMC): GCMC has been a part of the Geisinger family since 2012. GCMC provides high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents throughout Lackawanna County and northeastern Pennsylvania. Located in Scranton, GCMC has the only Level II trauma center and electronic intensive care unit in Lackawanna County, providing care for the most seriously ill and injured patients.
