Job summary

Carle Health in Peoria, Illinois, seeks an BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our growing OB/GYN practice. This PRN role supports inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care and deliveries, with 24-hour coverage provided by OB Hospitalists at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.

The position offers block scheduling flexibility and close collaboration with neonatology on site. You will thrive in an integrated system using Epic EMR and benefit from a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology physician with strong clinical skills and ability to manage obstetric cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care and deliveries.
• Collaborate with OB Hospitalists, neonatology staff and support teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Support block scheduling or flexible shifts to meet patient needs in a PRN capacity.

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our growing practice in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• PRN position
• Join our growing practice of 4 OB Hospitalists, 3 additional OB/GYN physicians, 2 OB/GYN Advanced Practice Provider and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife, and dedicated support staff
• Our OB Hospitalists provide 24-hour coverage in moderately busy labor and delivery unit at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
• Comfortable overnight accommodations located on labor and delivery floor.
• Practice will consist of inpatient Obstetrical and Gynecological care and deliveries.
• Block scheduling or scheduling flexibility based on candidate availability.
• 24/7 Neonatologist located on site.
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is $250/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
