gobravvo is seeking an OB Hospitalist Physician to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care within a hospital setting in Springfield, MO. You will join a dedicated hospitalist team focused on safety, quality outcomes, and collaborative care.

The role supports community physicians and midwives, with a mix of 24-hour and 12-hour shifts designed to optimize work-life balance while delivering high-quality maternal and fetal health care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN.
• Licensed to practice in the state of the assigned facility.
• Experience with obstetrical emergency care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available.
• Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetric patients, even when Maternal Fetal Medicine support is remote.
• Participate actively in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds.
• Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Offer clinical assistance and coverage to community physicians and midwives as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain patient safety and care quality.

As an OB Hospitalist Physician, you will provide comprehensive inpatient services to patients, including those with high-risk needs, and serve as a key part of our commitment to patient safety and exceptional outcomes. In this full-time role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including other hospitalists, nursing staff, community physicians, and midwives, to provide continuous coverage and respond to emergent situations. Qualifications & Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician

• Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care preferred
