gobravvo is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) to provide obstetrical and gynecological care within a busy hospital setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and other clinicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

You will lead safety initiatives on Labor and Delivery, support community physicians and midwives, and participate in daily rounds, CME, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Active Candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Current license to practice medicine in the assigned state, in good standing.
• Ability to build rapport with hospital leadership, clinical staff, and OB/GYN colleagues.
• Experience with obstetrical emergencies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver obstetrical and gynecologic care as part of the hospital program.
• Provide care to high-risk OB patients, with telemedicine support as needed.
• Participate in Labor and Delivery rounds and contribute clinical insights.
• Serve as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to uphold patient safety.
• Support community physicians and midwives as needed and safely available.
• Maintain up-to-date OB/GYN practice knowledge and pursue CME.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) - Summary

• Serve as a core provider of obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital environment

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available
• Provide direct patient care to high-risk OB patients, utilizing telemedicine support from Maternal Fetal Medicine as needed
• Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds, contributing clinical insights and recommendations
• Act as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety for all admissions
• Offer clinical assistance and practice coverage to community physicians and midwives as requested and as safely available
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) best practices and protocols
