Genesis OB/GYN Northwest, an affiliate of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our Tucson, AZ practice. The role focuses on hospital-based coverage with a flexible schedule and no mandatory in-house call.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-based OB/GYN coverage at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ.
• Collaborate with CNMs and NPs to deliver patient-centered obstetric care.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality outcomes.

OverviewGenesis OB/GYN Northwest, an affiliate of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is currently seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our highly recognized and growing practice in Tucson, AZ. The providers at Genesis OB/GYN Northwest have cared for women with innovative techniques and advanced equipment since 2008. Be a part of a team environment with 4 OB/GYNs, 2 NPs and 4 CNMs! Genesis OBGYN is a physician owned and led organization serving and providing excellent and quality care to the women in Arizona. With over 24 office locations int tucson, Phoenix area, Prescott and Flagstaff - including 1 MFM group in Tucson, 2 imaging centers and 1 women's health lab - Genesis offers patients a full service choice for their women's health needs.

Opportunity Highlights

• Well-established practice; serving the community for over 10 years.
• Enjoy a Flexible Schedule - The group is looking at 1-2 shifts per week and 1 weekend per month, but is flexible.
• Practice coverage ONLY - No unassigned or GYN call and the shift does not have to be taken in house.
• Group averages around 4 deliveries in a 24 hour period
• Providing Coverage at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ - Level II Nursery
• Hospitalists do not need to relocate to Tucson, but will need to be within the required proximity to the hospital when working. An on call room is available at the hospital, if needed.
• This position is Full Time Benefits eligible.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license, or ability to obtain one
• Board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN
• Current and unrestricted DEA certificate required (or the ability to obtain one)
• Expert diagnostic skills.
• Trustworthy and compassionate character
• Strong communication skills
