Job summary

VillageMD seeks a Women’s Health Sonographer to support OB/GYN imaging across multiple sites in Westchester County and Greenwich, CT. Under supervision, you will perform AIUM-guideline Ultrasound exams and contribute to patient care by obtaining clinical data and imaging for interpretation.

The role requires RDMS certification, a formal sonography program, and willingness to travel. Strong communication and computer skills are essential, with opportunities to train in high-risk OB/GYN ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Active OB/GYN Registry by ARDMS (RDMS).
• Experience in OB/GYN/High Risk ultrasound preferred; training may be provided for strong candidates.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to all Summit Health sites in Westchester County and Greenwich, CT.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in performing high-quality ultrasound exams following AIUM guidelines.
• Gather essential patient information from records and prior exams for correlation.
• Perform ultrasound scans and provide direct patient care as needed after confirmation of study and patient ID.
• Communicate differentials and findings clearly to interpreting physicians.
• Generate accurate reports for physicians’ review.
• Ensure proper documentation in the ultrasound reporting system after exams.
