Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Tech for a Day Shift. You will perform ultrasound examinations following physicians' orders and use a range of ultrasound equipment, tailoring imaging to each patient’s age-related or personal needs.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer license or Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilizes a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment.
• Considers individual patient's special or age-related needs.

Education

ARDMS certification (board eligible)

Oregon Sonographer license or temporary

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire

OBMI temporary license with 6-month path to permanent
