Job summary

Women's Care in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations, including routine and 3D-4D scans, and to document findings in the EMR. The role is ideally a full day on Tuesdays with half days on Wednesdays and Thursdays, supporting a busy OB/GYN/MFM practice.

The candidate should hold an OB/GYN ARDMS certification with 1–2 years of recent experience and possess excellent patient interaction skills. HIPAA compliance and professional conduct are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OBGYN or MFM experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient's electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women's Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
