Job summary

BB Imaging in Wichita, KS is hiring experienced OB and MFM Sonographers to join our growing team. You will work with physician partners, provide compassionate patient care, and deliver high-quality ultrasound across clinics.

You will perform sonographic procedures, travel to clinic sites in your assigned area, review charts, generate reports, and communicate findings to physicians. A RDMS OB/GYN and a CAAHEP-accredited program are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty.
• 1+ years OB/GYN sonography experience.
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN.
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound.
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.
