Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Sonography Technologist to work with radiologists and specialists to obtain high quality ultrasound images and deliver exceptional patient care. The role is patient-focused and involves operating ultrasound equipment in diagnostic rooms while communicating effectively with the care team.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, ARDMS/ARRT registry, and at least one year of Sonography experience; ARDMS certificate within the first year is required or board

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required; ARDMS or ARRT registry required; eligible for registry with 12 months to complete.
• One year experience in Sonography preferred.
• ARRT RT(S) or ARDMS certified or Board eligible; ARDMS certificate within first year required.
• Ability to complete skills validation, good communication, independent in diagnostic rooms, knowledge of ultrasound equipment, age-specific care, and basic computer skills.
