Qualifications

• Associate's degree or AMA-approved Radiology Program completion.
• Valid Sonography Certification and ARDMS/ARRT registration.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient needs when selecting procedures and equipment.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images with proper positioning and factors.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation.
• Follow Radiation Safety policies to limit exposure.
• Maintain a clean, stocked workspace and notify when stock is low.
• Perform quality assurance checks in software before submitting scans.
• Operate equipment to obtain precise measurements and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Transport patients if necessary.
