Job summary

Premier Ultrasound is hiring an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer for Per Diem positions in Newton, Massachusetts. You will perform ultrasound exams according to physician orders and collaborate with the medical team to discuss findings.

Responsibilities include patient education, adhering to safety and privacy standards, and ongoing professional development to stay current with imaging techniques.

Qualifications

• RDMS in OB/GYN required.
• 1–2 years post-RDMS experience preferred.
• 2+ years OB/GYN ultrasound experience desired.
• GE Voluson experience is a plus.
• Experience with Viewpoint reporting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations per orders.
• Collaborate with physician and healthcare team to discuss findings.
• Explain procedures to patients in a friendly, reassuring manner.
• Uphold safety, privacy and infection control standards.
• Engage in continuing education to stay current with sonography advances.
