Job summary

Bassett Medical Center in upstate New York is seeking an obstetrician/gynecologist to join an established team of 8 physicians, 9 APCs and 9 CNMs. The role includes general gynecology and obstetrics with advanced surgeries and a DaVinci robot.

The position involves outreach clinic travel 1–2 days per week, OB hospitalist inpatient coverage, and 12‑hour call shifts once a month. An academic appointment with Columbia University is possible.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree required.
• Board eligible or certified in OB/GYN.
• New York state medical licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 8 physicians, 9 APCs and 9 CNMs.
• Provide gynecology and obstetrics clinical care with advanced surgical offerings.
• Regional travel to outreach clinics 1–2 days per week.
• 1–2 12‑hour inpatient OB call shifts per month.
• Academic appointment potential with a medical school campus.
