Job summary

TEMA: Together Women’s Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our OB/GYN team in Nashville. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care, patient education, and coordination with physicians and staff.

You will support exam processes, perform triage, administer immunizations, document care, and assist with procedures. Prior Women’s Health or Labor & Delivery experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• State of Illinois RN or LPN License.
• BLS certification.
• At least one year of working experience as an RN or LPN.
• Women's Health or Labor & Delivery experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prep for physicians, take vital signs, record medical history/symptoms, ensure chart/lab results are complete.
• Use a team approach to achieve daily patient-centered care goals.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, medications, and side effects with psychosocial communication.
• Perform telephone triage, patient education, and coordinate appointments or tests.
• Administer immunizations and minor treatments and document in chart.
• Assist physicians with exams, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Clean and stock exam rooms and prepare instruments; manage supplies.
• Complete paperwork such as lab orders, x-rays, school/work notes, FMLA, etc.
• Communicate follow-up appointments and testing needs to patients and coordinators.
• Coordinate ordering of tests/procedures with clinical staff.
