Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in Newark, NJ is seeking OB/GYN physicians to join Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The role blends obstetrics and gynecology with teaching and mentorship opportunities alongside residents, with most duties at Newark Beth Israel and rotations at Newark Community Center.

The team provides inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care, a state-of-the-art labor unit, and access to DaVinci robots, supported by a robotics team and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• Participate in teaching and mentorship of OB/GYN residents.
• Collaborate with a nurse team and support staff to manage a high-volume labor and delivery unit.
• Deliveries and surgical procedures performed at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team for maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, and gynecologic oncology onsite.
