Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, seeks a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join our team within the Summa Health Medical Group. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care and participate in resident education at a major regional center.

The role offers competitive compensation, benefits, signing bonus, education loan assistance, relocation, and CME allowance, with a balanced schedule and a 24-hour call cadence.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Must be comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care to patients.
• Teach and supervise residents as part of a large, established group.
• Collaborate with midlevel providers and take call shifts as assigned.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient documentation.
