Isabella Citizens for Health, Inc. is seeking an OB/GYN physician to join the Women's Health Center located within McLaren Central Michigan Hospital. The role involves pregnancy, childbirth, and broader reproductive health care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The physician will provide prenatal through postpartum care, participate in surgeries, and leverage robotic-assisted surgical technology for advanced outcomes. The center supports professional development and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited school of medicine.
• Current medical licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Current controlled substance license.
• Board certifed or board eligible in OB/GYN.
• Unrestricted DEA license.
• NRP certification is required.
• Acquires and maintains hospital privileges where deliveries and call services are performed.

Responsibilities

• Provides prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care for pregnant women.
• Performs surgeries including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopies.
• Provides preventative care and education on reproductive health, contraception, and related issues.
• Collaborates with nurses, anesthesiologists, other physicians, and pediatricians for comprehensive care.
• Maintains accurate medical records and follows credentialing and privileging processes.
• Responds to urgent or emergent situations and refers patients to specialists when needed.
