Job summary

Palm Careers is seeking an OBGYN to cover a North Carolina site on a rotating schedule Friday through Tuesday, with weekday clinic duties and on-call responsibilities assisted by Midwives. The team operates with 2 RNs, 3 CMAs, 4 CMNs, and 4 Office Staff.

Weekend coverage is physician call only, with a 30-minute call response and a modest call ratio. Candidates should have substantial obstetrics experience including deliveries and GYN surgeries, and be comfortable working in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 50 deliveries including 12 cesareans within 12 months
• 25 GYN surgeries including 5 major vaginal and abdominal cases
• All cases within 12 months

Responsibilities

• Provide OBGYN coverage Friday–Tuesday each week with clinic work and on-call duties assisted by Midwives
• Weekend coverage would be Physician call only
• Call response time is within 30 minutes, call ratio is 0-5 per 24-hour shift
