Job summary

Nashville General Hospital is seeking an OB/GYN physician to provide comprehensive primary and urgent care to a diverse patient population. The role includes obstetric and gynecologic office procedures and managing prenatal and postnatal care.

The successful candidate will participate in resident education, maintain compliant records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality women’s health services.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree or D.O. from an AOA/ACGME accredited medical school.
• Completed an associated Approved AOA/ACGME Residency.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Experience with Robotic Surgery preferred.
• ER call is flexible with at least 8 call days/month.

About the job OB/GYN Physician Nashville, TN

Position Summary:

The OBGYN Physician will provide comprehensive primary and urgent care to an ethnically and socially diverse, female patient population in accordance with the values, beliefs and policies of Nashville General Hospital. The successful candidate will also perform routine Obstetric and Gynecological office procedures and follow up all abnormal pap smears.

Responsibilities:

Provides primary care services to Clinic patients including:

• Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and
• examination results.
• Conducting physical examinations.
• Order and interpret the results of laboratory, x-ray and other tests.
• Perform routine office based obstetric and gynecological procedures including,
• colposcopy and endometrial biopsies, etc.
• Determine and implement appropriate courses of treatment.
• Provide treatment plans and prescribe medications for issues/diseases of the female.

• Provide care and treatment during prenatal and postnatal periods.
