Job summary

Swedish Medical Group in Seattle is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible OB-GYN to join the First Hill/Ballard OB-GYN and Midwifery practice. The role combines 0.8 FTE clinical duties with 0.2 FTE as Medical Director, offering diverse obstetric and gynecologic care and teaching opportunities for residents.

Collaborative, teaching-focused environment with strong connections to midwifery, maternal-fetal medicine, OB hospitalists, and residents.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified or board-eligible in OB-GYN.
• Completion of an accredited OB-GYN residency program is required.
• Minimum 2 years of OB-GYN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope OB-GYN care including obstetrics, gynecology, procedures, and surgeries.
• Teach and support Swedish OB-GYN residents in clinic, inpatient, labor/delivery, and surgery.
• Partner with midwives, maternal-fetal medicine, hospitalists, and other clinicians to ensure coordinated care.
• Lead or participate in practice meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Act as Medical Director for the First Hill/Ballard OB-GYN and Midwifery group (0.2 FTE).
