Job summary

Delta Health Center Inc. is seeking an OB/GYN physician to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a primary health care setting in Mississippi. You will diagnose, treat, counsel, and manage prenatal through postpartum care within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold an MD or DO with an active Mississippi license and be board eligible or certified by ABOG; residency training in OB/GYN is required, with a focus on cost-effective, evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school; license to practice in Mississippi.
• Residency in OB/GYN completed for board-eligibility and/or board-certification.
• Knowledge of practice management principles and patient care standards.
• Sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and record patient's medical history and exam patient.
• Order and interpret tests and imaging; diagnose conditions.
• Administer or prescribe treatments and medications.
• Provide prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care; follow-up.
• Refer to specialists; perform minor or major surgery when indicated.
• Maintain medical records; participate in QA and educational programs.
