Job summary

Sharon OB/GYN Associates of Physicians for Women's Health in Sharon, CT is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to support our practice. The team includes two MDs and affiliation with Sharon Hospital.

The physician will diagnose, treat, and manage obstetric and gynecologic care, with emphasis on patient-centered care and continuity of care. Candidates should have OB/GYN or Women’s Health experience, MD/DO from an accredited school, board certification or eligibility, CT license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Experience in OB/GYN or Women’s Health.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Connecticut license.
• Federal and State controlled substance licenses.
• BLS certification.
• Eligible for hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data.
• Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations and wound care.
• Instruct and counsel patients on treatment regimens, growth and development, family planning, and health maintenance.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and monitor hospitalized patients when appropriate.
• Gain competence in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Billing submission at time of office visit.
