Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine required.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
• Board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board or active pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other medical care.
• Order, perform, and interpret tests and examine records to diagnose conditions.
• Collaborate with clinical team and make judgments about tests, diagnoses and treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
• Diagnose and treat conditions in the area of specialty; may perform surgical procedures.
• May create post-operative care plans and lifestyle recommendations.

Education

Doctorate Degree in Medicine

Licensed to Practice Medicine in Texas (Texas Medical Board)
