Job summary

Unified Women's Healthcare, in collaboration with Southern New England Healthcare for Women, is seeking an OB/GYN physician to join the Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology in Providence, Rhode Island. The role features a 4-day work week with a mix of office, surgery, and laborist duties, and a shared call schedule.

Deliveries occur at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, with supervision of midwives in a hospital-based program.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Current Unrestricted State Medical License
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-based model with physicians and midwives
• Mix of office, surgery, and laborist responsibilities (4-day work week)
• Share call schedule with another practice; approximately 1 (24-hour) call shift per month
• Supervise and collaborate with a team of midwives in a hospital-based program
• Deliveries performed at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island; supervise midwives
