Job summary

Fairview is seeking an Ob/Gyn physician to join the multi-specialty practice at M Health Fairview Clinic - Burnsville. The Obstetrician and Gynecologist will participate in high-quality medical care, collaborating with colleagues to provide comprehensive OB/GYN services within Fairview’s network.

Openings include clinic, surgery, and on-call duties with a 3–4 day workweek and an average 4 days of call per month.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OB/GYN residency training program.
• Board certification or eligibility with ABMS.
• Eligible for Minnesota medical licensure.
• Able to obtain DEA certification for Minnesota.
• Meets criteria for credentialing and privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide general OB/GYN patient care including exams and treatment planning.
• Prescribe or administer treatments per care plan.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess health needs.
• Refer to other providers within the Fairview network as needed.
• Maintain EMR per Fairview standards and licensure.
• Respond to emergencies and protect patient confidentiality.
• Contribute to policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in team-based case management and education projects.
• Allocate majority of time to direct patient care and service.
• May supervise medical support staff and coordinate with nursing staff.

ACGME/AOA Obstetrics and Gynecology residency

Board Certified/Board Eligible (ABMS)

Minnesota medical licensure
