Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking an obstetrician-gynecologist for inpatient and OR coverage in New York on a 24-hour call basis. The assignment involves on-site work with no outpatient duties, and requires active NY licensure with credentialing in approximately 45–60 days.

The clinician will handle 600 deliveries per year, about 2–3 patients per shift, and will transfer high-risk cases as appropriate, with board certification negotiable and true-board eligible candidates considered.

Qualifications

• Active NY medical license is required.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology negotiable; board-eligible candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage during 24-hour call shifts.
• Manage a case load of 2-3 patients per shift and about 600 deliveries per year.
• Handle high-risk cases by transferring out as needed.
