OB/GYN needed to join established, hospital‑employed group.
Blessing Health System’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology seeks an additional OB/GYN for its established, busy practice. The group currently has four Board Certified OB/GYN physicians and three nurse practitioners. The position is located in a newer clinic building connected via sky‑bridge to the hospital and adjacent to the state‑of‑the‑art Blessing Breast Center.
Call schedule: 1:4, weekend call 1:8. The clinic has in‑house CRNAs and a Laborist group 24‑7, with full support services for deliveries, newborns, and gynecological surgery including LDR rooms, a high‑risk nursery, and both in‑patient and out‑patient surgery.
Employing over 250 physicians and advanced practice providers, Blessing is the largest medical provider serving a 300,000+ population region covering West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. The system operates Blessing Hospital, a 349‑bed regional referral center in Quincy, Illinois, and Illini Community Hospital, a 25‑bed critical access hospital in Pittsfield, Illinois.
Quincy is located on high limestone bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, renowned for its natural beauty, Victorian‑era homes, and vibrant arts programs.
