Job summary

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN for our rural Winchester, Indiana practice. Inherit an established patient base and provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care at St.

Vincent Randolph Hospital, with back-up across facilities as needed. Join a supportive team including one OB/GYN and one Certified Nurse Midwife, operating with a Level 1 nursery and a dedicated surgery day, in a community-focused hospital that values high-quality patient care and physician

Qualifications

• MD/DO license in good standing and credentialed in Indiana.
• Board certification in OB/GYN.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care within a rural practice.
• Inherit an established patient base and support growth.
• Deliver services at St. Vincent Randolph Hospital and neighboring facilities as needed.
• Collaborate with a CNM to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Call Schedule: Midwife handles 1st call 3 days/week & 1 weekend per month. MD's split other call & provide midwife back up 50/50.

How you'll make an impact in this role

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN for our facilities in Winchester, Indiana. This opening is for our rural practice in need of an experienced and energetic Physician ready to inherit an established patient base with the opportunity to grow. This candidate would also provide services in our neighboring hospital (St. Vincent Randolph) when necessary.

Position Highlights:

• Level 1 nursery (approx. 225 deliveries per year)

• Average patient volume is 15-18 pts/day (outpatient)

• MD has 1 dedicated surgery day per week

• Critical Access Hospital

• Practice is located in the same building as the Family Practitioners

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
