  • Manage an established patient panel in outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and participate in call coverage.

Job Overview – OB/GYN Physician
Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000/year
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Full Time

TAG MedStaffing is hiring an OB/GYN Physician in Jacksonville, FL for our client. This opportunity provides full-scope obstetrics and gynecology care across outpatient clinics and hospital settings, including preventive care, prenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, and women's health services. The OB/GYN Physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the continued growth of a well-established practice. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, compassionate patient care, and building long-term relationships with patients across all stages of women's health.

Responsibilities as the OB/GYN Physician:

  • Obstetric Care: Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk pregnancy care for patients throughout the reproductive lifecycle.
  • Gynecologic Services: Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions while providing preventive care, annual examinations, and women's health consultations.
  • Surgical Procedures: Perform gynecologic surgeries and procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures when applicable.
  • Patient Management: Manage an established patient panel while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Clinical Leadership: Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams while contributing to mentorship and clinical excellence initiatives.
  • Call Coverage: Participate in call responsibilities, including labor and delivery coverage and after-hours patient care as required.

Qualifications for the OB/GYN Physician:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree is required.
  • Licensure: Active or eligible state medical license is required.
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) is required.
  • Experience: Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience providing full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, including surgical procedures and labor and delivery coverage, is required.
  • Technical Skills: Experience utilizing electronic medical record systems is required, and familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms is preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care are required.
