Job summary

Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS is actively recruiting an OB-GYN to join our established Women's Health Clinic. The role features clinic hours M-F 8a-5p, a flexible 36-patient-care-hour schedule, and a 1:3 on-call rotation with locums support.

Expect 25–30 patients daily and collaboration with Urology/General Surgery teams. Qualified candidates are BE/BC in OBGYN and must obtain MS medical licensure with DEA authority.

Responsibilities

• Manage OB/GYN clinic operations and patient care with a collaborative team
• Deliverables include ~300 babies per year and on-call schedule 1:3
• Coordinate with Urology and General Surgery support for comprehensive care
• Maintain high-quality obstetric and gynecologic services in a well-supported setting

We are a 164-bed general acute care hospital and are a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides inpatient, outpatient and emergency department services. About the position:

1. Clinic Hours: M-F 8a-5p

2. Schedule: Flexible - 36 patient care hours

3. Call: 1:3 (with FTE and locums support); typically 0-3 calls/day

4. Average patients per day (when ramped): 25-30

5. Department: 1OB, locums support, Uro for GYN, U/S tech, lab tech, RN support

6. No robotics

7. 4 OR + 2 C-section suites, 5 LDR beds

8. Outpatient therapy support for pelvic floor and other female needs

9. Urology and General Surgery support

10. Staff is stable and long-term

11. Deliveries for the team ~300 babies/year

Qualifications:

1. BE/BC in OBGYN

2. Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of MS and DEA with full prescriptive authority
