Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks OB/GYN providers to join a multi-specialty network in Houston. Providers will deliver comprehensive gynecologic care, pregnancy and postpartum services, and collaborate with a large team of medical professionals.

Qualifications

• Completed residency and practicing or be in residency when applying.
• Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hire
• Licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible
• Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide general gynecological care and care related to pregnancy and reproductive system.
• Focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of women's health issues, including childbirth and postpartum care.
• Support lifelong care spanning adult life with medical and surgical needs.

At Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department consists of specialists whose focus is women's health. The OB/GYN Department and the individual providers are a diverse and cohesive group of caring and competent providers.

Our goal is to care for our patients within the cultural values of patient service, mutual respect, value-based care, and evidence-based care, while nurturing our providers.

Our providers are responsible for general gynecological care of women, but also provide care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system. Our OB/GYNs are concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of general health problems, but they focus on ailments specific to the female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders. They also specialize in childbirth, treating and counseling women throughout their pregnancy, from giving prenatal diagnoses, to delivery, and postpartum care. The role of the gynecological provider at Kelsey Seybold spans the adult lifetime of woman's care, meeting both her medical and surgical needs.
