Job summary

Holston Medical Group, PC is seeking an Office Nurse to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting in Bristol, TN. This role supports clinicians by taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and delivering patient education within the Patient-Centered Medical Home model.

You will document data accurately, assist with procedures, administer medications, and coordinate with providers to ensure timely care and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN license or MA Certification by the state employed.
• 0-2 years LPN experience preferred; CPR certified.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and document in electronic health records.
• Prepare patients for examinations and provide health education.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications as needed.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked and equipment is in good working order.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA policies.
