Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking obstetric coverage specialists for 12-hour shifts, primarily nights with some days. Expect 0-2 GYN surgeries per shift and 3-5 GYN ED calls, with duties including deliveries and C-sections.

The role offers paid malpractice insurance, travel and housing pre-paid, and 24-hour consultant support within a busy Weatherby network. Assignments and time entry are managed through our online portal; weatherby has been a leader in locum tenens since 1995, staffing physicians

Qualifications

• Skills required — deliveries, C-sections, GYN emergencies
• Experience in obstetric procedures and emergency gynecology coverage preferred
• Ability to manage 12-hour shift OB/GYN workloads

Responsibilities

• Provide OB ED, OB Laborist, and Flex OB coverage across 12-hour shifts
• Perform deliveries and C-sections as required
• Respond to GYN emergencies and manage patient care during shifts
