Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Accredited medical assisting program or US Armed Forces training preferred.
• Must be certified/registered by day of hire with one of the listed organizations.
• BLS through American Heart Association within 30 days of employment/transfer.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, ethics, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care management, administrative and clinical procedures.
• Provide administrative/clinical assistance to physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses, and patients.
• Adhere to prescribed treatment plans and established policies and procedures.
• Perform essential duties with reliability and professionalism.
