Job summary

ARC Health is seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician for a locum tenens assignment in southwestern New Mexico. The role includes inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care, surgical coverage, and on‑call duties.

Long‑term coverage is preferred with potential for block schedules. The position offers competitive compensation with hourly clinic and on‑call rates, travel and lodging coverage, and medical malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency.
• Current, valid, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care.
• Perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries and manage labor and delivery emergencies.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Maintain complete, timely electronic medical records and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
